I meant to post his set of pictures when I first started the blog. I took these this year, 2010, on the 4th of July. I hadn't seen the fireworks in years. They amazed me, but these pictures amazeed me more. I didn't expect them to have soo much depth. I put some of these on facebook a while back but that was only a small part of the set; I think that day I took like 300 pictures. One thing about his blog also is that it allows me to share the photos in their full size so.... here you go.

A Lunar Eclipse for Christmas
Dont know how many people even look up at the sky anymore. I know there are only a few people i know that may even take the time out to look up. In bewtween I took a few opictures of our christmas tree, trying to use those focus techniques im practicing. Anyway, here are my offerings for Tuesday morning's eclispe. Learned a couple of things here,
1. Dress warm if you intend to be outside with a camera, looking up at the sky while the wind is blowing.
2. Don't hold the camera. Use your tripod. Its the reason you have it.
3. And this is something I'm working on, you'll definitely need a larger/ long range lense to take pictures of the moon. May need another camera all together.
Enjoy.

Romance in Nature 2
Quick explanation of the title of this post. When I say Roamnce in terms of these pictures I am refferring to the bright and vivid colors from....nature. There were flowers in the graden that didn't grow as strong or were dying or had been eaten by bugs and other animals but in just looking in the pictures themselves, you wouldn't know that. The same is true for life. some parts shine vividly in our memories while others fade to the background easily...I have tons of pictures from this day so enjoy.
If you look very closely, you can see glare from the sun on the lense.
She just doesn't know that she is forever my default model.

Yeah I do those too...
This post I believe is because it is expected of me. I couldn't officially say this blog belonged to or was of me if i didn't give you all aspects of my own personality. One side of me has a true affinity to sneaker culture, really fashion in general. Something about clothes being a true extension of one's own mind. You can almost tell what is on someone's mind or where they are in life by the things they choose to wear...Keep in mind though I use that word almost very loosely...sometimes people aren't worth reading at all...Either way, enjoy.

Exercise in Focus/ Romance in Nature
A few months ago, Britney asked me to take these pictures for her first book. We frolicked in the park for a couple of hours and these were some of the results. Alot of laying in the dirt went on that day. These ten pictures also serve as a good example in the use of focus. The camera has an auto focus feature that I only really use in low light. When the sun is out though, I make full use of the manual focus settings. Feel free to use any of the following as desktop backgrounds. Enjoy.
